註：Sand of sleep，原本的詞是sleep sand，意思是塗了睫毛膏，沒有卸妝而直接睡眠，然後翌日早上睫毛膏以奇怪的方式掉落，眼瞼像是黏住了，難以睜開的這個狀態。

考慮到X Japan成員的外表的風格，直接使用此譯法亦無不可，原本也打算這樣做，但中文裏其實並沒有這個狀態的描述，譯者本人也無法創造，更無法使下句意思連接起來，所以為了讓上文下理意思通順，故使用「不毛的夢」譯法。
